It’s March yet again! It’s time to commit to a brighter future for IIT Delhi.
The Institute officially recognises March as the “Giving Month”, and we are truly overwhelmed with the support & pledges received for the “Giving March” fund over the years. These have given incredible support & encouragement to the institute towards shaping its future.
The Institute cannot achieve its goal without the consistent & unconditional support it has been receiving from its illustrious alumni such as yourself. Together we can make a huge and lasting impact and leave behind a legacy that would be cherished forever.
Your contributions towards this campaign will be added to the IIT Delhi Endowment Fund. The IIT Delhi Endowment Fund was established in October 2019 with the goal of supporting IIT Delhi’s future. Every single “Giving” or contribution, irrespective of the scale, makes IIT Delhi stronger & will go a long way in helping the Institute realise its vision of being one of the premier universities in the world. We look forward to the entire IIT Delhi alumni community playing a significant role in this cause.

Donations made to IIT Delhi by individuals (including
Alumni) are wholly tax deductible under section 80GGA of the Indian Income Tax
Act (under old Tax Regime). Donations made via the IIT Delhi Endowment Fund
(US) , which is a 501(c)(3) organization, are tax-deductible under US tax law.
IIT Delhi’s US Federal Tax ID (EID No.) is 84-5155291.
UK taxpayers can claim tax relief for their
donation made via IIT AA UK. IIT Alumni Association UK is a registered charity,
duly registered and regulated by the Charities Commission. All UK Donors needs
to provide a Gift Aid Declaration to IIT AA UK, which will then claim Gift Aid
Tax Benefit from HMRC at the Basic Rate.
Donor usually receive an acknowledgement within 24-48 working hours after receiving funds and receipt over email for all online donations. In case you have donated through cheque, NEFT transfer or any other offline mode, receipt shall be sent to your email id once the credit is received in IIT Delhi donation account. Please share the donation details (including Name, Address and PAN) to firstname.lastname@example.org for all offline donations as soon as you make the donation so that the funds can be acknowledged, and receipt can be shared at the earliest. Please note that donation receipts and certificates are only provided for donations above INR 1000 as per institute policies.
